Host ICF won the team championship on 11 March 2008 for the first time in the all-India Railway body building championship which was held in Chennai.

ICF tallied 51 points with S.E. Railway second with 48 points and Southern Railway third with 47 points.

75 kg: 1. Suhash Kamkar (CR); 2. N. Sarbo Singh (SER); 3. Rohit Gupta (WCR); 80 kg: 1. Sathyanarayanan (SWR) 2. A. Boby Singh (SER); 3. A.K. Rari (SCR).

85 kg: 1. Rex Varghese (SR); 2. S. Senthil Kumaran (ICF); 3. N.S. Singh (SER).

90 kg: 1. P.P. Sameer (SR); 2. Jallinder Aapke (WR); 3. S. Koley (SER). Plus 90 kg: 1. S.H. Shyam Sharma (SER); 2. Shyam Rahate (WR); 3. M.S. Vinod (SR).
