Bollywood Movie WoodstockVilla Review

Another thriller this year, but does it really manages to thrill ? The movie is claimed to be a noir genre but seems that its nothing less than your trial in a dark room with lots of loud sounds soaring around you. A thriller is said to have thrills but here not thrills. Movie hardly manages to shock you and most of the time audience is puzzled to figure out what they are watching and why watching it anyways. Directed by Hansal Mehta, movie is all dark and there are sudden zoom in and zoom out, most of the time camera angles are unusual that the moment you focus on subject, its already late... vroom, the scene is changed and you have to again try to find the subject of the new scene.

However, as I am writing a review and not the story so we will talk more about the movie and the story but should give you little glimpse what is all this Woodstock villa is about. So movie starts with a couple fighting (Arbaaz and Neha Uberoi) but later he finds her wife dead, later on it is found that Zara (the dead wife) paid Sam (Sikander) to get her kidnapped but she dies in his custody and mystery deepens. To know the real you have to watch movie but review is here, you may decide watch or not to watch

Noir genre basically deals with a cinema with attitude and mostly filled with dark characters and gore but here seems Hansal Mehta misunderstood and there is so much of attitude in the movie. However you will find it interesting to view if you watch it from the eyes of Hansal Mehta. Too much imagination is there but really not worthy for the normal viewers.

Also, songs are really unwanted. They just do not match with movie at all. Even if somehow you managed to do with movie, songs are really disturbing. Seems like alien invaders in the movie.

Arbaaz khan did fine and seems like understanding what he is supposed to do when he is asked to act. Neha Oberoi looks good while the Sikandar Kher get the applauses, he is remarkable in this movie and looks promising for future.

In the end.. a Poor movie but may sound cool to some.
