I am in a relationship from 6 and a half years. I am 22 years old and my boyfriend is 26 years old. We love each other a lot. I want to tell my parents about him and want them to get easily convinced for our marriage. I belong to a sikh family and he is a punjabi hindu. His parents and his family have already agreed for our marriage. His family likes me a lot. I don't know if my parents will accept him or not as both of my parents want me to have an arrange marriage. But still I want your suggestions how can I convince them.

Don't take pressure and be ready for Leave it or Love it action.. simply tell your parents about him without any delay, if they denies , try to convince , if still they deny, leave him. Believe me, it will be lot better than your current situation. =
