Honda, one of the leading company in automobile industry has announced that it will launch the 2014 Jazz/Fit in September and is likely to unveil the car in the next month.

The 2014 Honda Jazz is expected to be wider as well as longer than the current model thanks to an increased length. The car is also expected to have a class-leading 400litre boot space and a slightly extended wheelbase of 2.58m.

Information regarding it's powertrain, In India the Jazz will most likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol mill and the new 1.5-litre diesel engine found under the hood of the Amaze sedan. The global variant known as the Fit in the US market will get an engine range consisting of 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol units besides the 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. As a B+ segment car the Jazz will be placed as a direct rival to Hyundai’s i20 hatchback. It is likely that we in India will also get an automatic variant of the jazz.

However, there are no words exchanged by the company regarding it's pricing at the time of official announcement.
