Can anyone of you suggest me some good java based app for my Sony Ericsson Cedar handset, to read & access E-books/files in the .pdf format? Presently, I have a very nice epub reader app, which works flawlessly giving a plesant reading experience. But, not all E-books are available in epub...

Also, a good software to convert pdf into Epub EFFECTIVELY [taking all aspects into consideration] would be helpful too!

AS far as I know, S40 is Nokia's OS , what do you mean by s-40 in your Sony Cedar handset ?

Thanks for your post. Savera, you don't understand. I meant to say, any App which works fine with any Nokia s40 based device should be fine in my Sony device too! Just need an app, specifically that .jar file, if there is any.

So, please people come up with your ideas.

On such small screen using PDF reader hardly make any sense.
Also I am just not able to recall if I was ever able to find a good PDF reader for java phones as like you , I also tried to use PDF files in older phones. However, if I finds one, I will share here.

The screen is indeed small, but that doesn't makes e-books reading impossible. With the present epub reader that I have, I have successfully completed last 3 Dan Brown novels! So, a good pdf reader won't be bad trying, since more E-books are in that format.

You can read your PDF files from your Nokia s40 handset using a well known Java Application named "MobilePDF".
Application comes for free and can be downloaded easily.
