With all that information, all I can say is, talk to your parents and try to convince them on this. Tell them, its 21st century and old rudiments customs, ideologies and thinking have no place here. What's most important nowdays in any relationship is how better you understand your partner and how much respect do you pay to each other. Marrying you in a higher caste will never guarantee happiness to you. It can never promise that your husband will love you unconditionally and forever. So, just to showcase your identity and keep your pride intact in front of the society, your parents should not marry you elsewhere.
If they have any serious, good, justified and logical reason, they should come out with that.
