I am going for new a laptop but the one which suits my need is with AMD Athlon X2 QL-60. But ppl say go for intel core 2 duo. I can go for intel c2D but how is AMD Athlon X2 QL-60 . help guys

This question pop up every now and then.
But you have not mentioned which core2duo you want to buy, considering x2 ql-60, its a mobile processor from AMD.

You can compare it with core2 duo T5750 etc. I guess, in terms of performance, you will hardly find any difference but there will be good difference in the term of price.

One more thing that should be noticed that AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-60 offers 1 MB of L2 cache while C2D T5750 gives you 2 MB of L2 cache. It clearly means that C2D will have an edge over AMD Athlon x2 QL60 since bigger L2 cache sometimes plays a significant role.

But as I said, it wont be visible effect, you can notice it only in benchmarks and extensive tests etc.

However, AMD athlon ql-60 provides a good value of money. But c2d will give you better performance on the cost of more money.

well u should go for core 2 duo as its an advanced version rather going for dual core .its ram processing is quite good
