Since today I failed to grab Yureka Yu which is obviously a great piece of hardware at again great price but I am skeptical about its camera quality. In past I have seen even costly Micromax phones have inferior camera quality than similar counter parts from reputed brands. I seriously doubt camera quality but if anyone who has been able to get the phone, please share low light and normal light pictures or give your views here.

They say it has Sony Lens but what about its sensor, not a lens alone can make big difference, if they are using cheap sensor then all is useless.

This will really help, otherwise I will consider spending some more money in something better which also comes with better camera.

It is true that camera quality of such brands are sometimes not upto the mark but it is also true with other established brands also. For example, recently my friend purchased HTC 816 dual sim which comes with 13 MP camera but the quality of camera is far below expectations, he can't take pictures in dark and are inferior than similar priced phone or even lesser priced phones.

For Micromax Yu, reading various online authentic review, I can conclude that its camera is just average, bad in low light and also not good with flash. Day light pictures or pictures with adequate light are just acceptable. So unlike its great hardware, camera is just average.

You can search on google for "Yureka Yu" reviews and can confirm yourself.

It is still good as compared to phones in similar price range but yes, do not buy this phone if you need a very good camera.
