I run windows 7 and want to use yawcam software to use with home security camera for surveilliance but problem is that when I installed , it says it need Java, I installed latest java from java website, but now again I see error :

Could not start the application, please reinstall

I then reinstalled it but same problem, also tried rebooting and then try again but now gain. Anyone can help me out, I think the problem is related to java environment but I have no idea how to fix it ?

This kind of problem is pretty evident with Java application. I think problem is with version , please make sure you have installed same version for both software. I mean, if you are running 64 bit of windows then make sure you download x64 JRE and also x64 yawcam.

So best bet is to uninstall both, download them again and then reinstall.
