Ingredients
100 grams Gram flour (besan)
200 grams Wheat flour
1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
Salt (As per taste)
12 teaspoons Ghee

Method
Mix both the flour with the rest of the ingredients, add water and knead into a stiff dough. Cover with wet cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.

Divide dough into 8-10 balls. Flatten and press the centre with your thumb.

Place the baatis in 1/2 litre of boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove onto paper towels and then place in oven or grill until golden brown.

Dip in hot ghee before serving with dal, churma and garlic chutney.
