[u]Acid Factory : Hindi Movie Review
Directed by Suparn Varma,” Acid Factory” is an interesting thriller which requires every bit of your attention from beginning to the end. Every second of the movie is important as the director has made an attempt to keep his audience occupied with the story. However the climax could have been made still effective.
Fardeen Khan wakes up in a deserted factory , surrounded by people lying about. He has absolutely no memory of who he is or how he got there and he is unable to get out. Before too long, the others Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa, Dia Mirza wake up and they all have amnesia too. As the story progresses they come to know that their memory is lost because of a gas leak from a container and that two amongst them have been kidnapped and the other three are the kidnappers. Mean while the police are on a look out for Irfan Khan and a worried wife is on the search of her missing husband.
The plot keeps unfolding slowly picking up pace in the second hour where you come to know the reason why and how the people got trapped and the story told so far becomes justified. However the end of the story could have been intensified and made to look real. The director has done a good job with the movie and the starts to have given their best short at their respective performance. There are some super stunts by Tinu verma and the movie is a must for thrill lovers. The star cast leaves a question as to how the movie would survive, but once you start viewing, there is no holding you back.
The music of the film as demanded is shady, intriguing and one that creates mystery. Soundtracks are ''Yeh Jism'' and ''Khatta Meethi'' ''Raftaar'', and ''Kone Kone Mein'' are not that attention grabing except for" Jab andhera hota hai".
