Myself Chaitra here, i have completed my studies and even did job for almost one and half years. I'm in love with one of my close friend and we love each other like hell. we respect each other and have mutual understanding in all the ways. Well On January month ma bro caught me with him and i had to say each and everything about our relation with my family. they had put a condition that i should not speak with him till one year since they wanna see whether we really or in these duration we might forget each other. but its already 8 months over and they tried a lot to convince me to leave him but thats not at all possible. I'm still in touch with him which makes me stronger. My parents doesn't know that I'm in touch with him well i'm managing somehow. Now my parents are convinced and they want my boy friend Vishu's parents to come home and talk about the marriage so that it will be a decent marriage. Vishu's mom is convinced but he dad is really rigid and not at all ready to get convinced and dont wanna come home at all. since our caste is different he is not accepting me as his daughter in law. he says vishu to die as he dont treat him as his son also. they had to come home this weekend but thats is not possible so somehow i managed and said that they will come on 18th i.e we have one more week to convince. now i'm not getting how to convince him. even vishu is not able to convince his dad. Please help me because we cant leave each other. Please help us please.

Just went through your post and i can certainly understand what you are going through. but just wanted to know that are you 100% sure about your bf like will he take a stand for you no matter what.
And for the solution I will reckon intially tell your bf to meet your parents face to face and then bering his family in between. i feel sorry for the kids as parents believe in the concept of caste (including myself) for them thier so called reputation is everything and not thier child's happiness. Well your bf have to convince his father anyhow because your parents will pressurise you. Give him ultimatum either he convince his father or forget you. By saying this he would be under pressure and then will make more efforts. Hope this works for you.
