Volley ball is awell-known game. Many tournaments are organised all over India and in foreign countries. This country has possessed national and international volleyball players. Once FIVB, a renowned volley ball board had organised an international tour in Tamil nadu at Besant nagar. I happen to watch the game. It was fabulous. Really our players worked hard. There were unexpected encouragement from the audience, also good response from them. There too i felt the same patriotism which ll be seen in other games. Our players need encouragement and recognition not only from the govt but also from the media and society. Problem is that the government is not giving equal importance to this game when compare to other games. Media plays a very prminent role in society as in acts as an eye in society. It can bring the worthy players to lime light. players like Ukara pandi, Pradeep John, Saravanan, Dhamodaran are international volley ball players. They play for our country, but how many of us know these players? Some thing we should do to these players in return. Its our duty as a citizen of India. I feel that no way these guys are inferior to other players. These peoples' photo can also be blown in papers, also be in head lines, they worth it. I expect some change at least after looking into this message.
