I just downloaded a small animation movie file from internet, when I extracted the zip file, it contains one of the nrg files but no movie file. Is it the file of movie ?

How can I use it ?

.nrg files are nothing but ISO files or say Image files. But they belongs to NERO. If you have nero then you can burn this file on CD / DVD and use it.

Other than that you can use Daemon Tools to virtually use .nrg file as CD. Thirdly, use any common CD burning software, most of them support nrg files and use it to extract its content.

NRG files are Nero's proprietary format.
Get a new version of Daemon tools or download nrg2iso and convert them to standard .ISO images.
