I bought an hp all in one printer...when I make a scan of word document,
it saves the file in jpeg or any other image format.....I want to print the document after editing in ms word...so how can I convert the jpeg file to ms word file or is there any other softwares available???

Few scanner comes with ability to scan text format directly, then you can copy into word file. Nupur may suggest you something regarding same.

yeah you will have to explore all the scan option with HP scanner.. also it will ask you to scan image as document or image type...

1st save document in pdf format then you convert pdf to word useing pdf to word converter software.

Hmm..

There is Two types of All in One Printer
1.) MFP ( Multi Function Printer)
2.) Officejet (All in One)

There is No need to Install other software.. IF u are using Hp MFP Printer .U just need to Install the Driver in Proper method.

If u have MFP then Follow the Below Procedure :-

From C.D ( Most probably u have C.d of it) :- Follow belwo procedure-

1. Auto run the C.D
2. Click on install Driver
3 Accept the licence
4. It ask to choose the connectivity- NW or Direct
5.- Choose Direct ( coz Scan is work with direct connecty with PC not from the n/w and its recommended by HP )
6. Then it ask U choose Driver ( Minimum, typical or Customer) click on typical and install the Driver.
7 Check with Print test page
8. then Finish.

Now connect scanner to the Pc.

Then Go to start-------- All Programms----------HP----------Scan---------Choose scan a file and photo. then click on scan---------- It ask you to scan another document------- then if yes scan another Document and if no then its ask you to the Location to save and same time its shows a option below to select Format ( in which format u wanted to save) that time choose Word Format and click on save...

The document will save in Word Format...

Note- This will work when you are using XP ( Operating System) . IF you are using Vista then you have to check whether your Pritner is Vista supported or not.

Second IF you have office jet ( All in one Printer ) then you Can install Readiris Pro Software to Convert Jpeg or other format into WOrd and best thing in this software is You can edit your Scan document --

1.) Full Model No of Printer
2.) Operating system
3) You have C.d or not?
