    Well, all nutritious food is good but avoid food with lots of fats.

    Though the best practice to maintain good looking abs is to exercise them regularly as well never overeat. If you eat a lot then use it. You have to maintain ratio usage and consumption of calories you eat. If you are eating more than required then you will face difficulties in maintaining good looking abdominal area muscle.

    I would stay away from carbs more than fat, and eat a lot of protein (chicken breat, tuna, cottage cheese, protein powder)

    The best foods to maintain abs is fat free foods , if you eat healthy fat free diet then abs can be maintained forever. More over crabohydrtaes should be avoided in evening

    Three things required to mainatin abs are :

    1. Proper diet ( avoid sugar, oily foods, junk foods and late night eating)

    2. Have 5-6 small meals in a day instead of 2 major meals and 2 breakfasts

    3. Proper cardio workouts and good sleep

    I totally Agree with what Zairaong had to say...
    Thats the perfect way to maintain a good physique while reducing the body fat.

    & to add to what Zairong advised about healthy & balanced Diet i would suggest to get into a habit of including full body workout in your routine...
    i;e 3-4 days per week.
    The body fat can't be cut down from any one or few particular parts, You need to have a full body workout to attain the best desired results!
