TVS Motors who recently saw drop in revenues with profit of Rs. 3291 crore for the year ended March 2008, down from Rs. 3920 crore in the previous year. Profit before tax during the year under review stood at Rs. 35.37 crore (Rs. 90.85 crore). Profit after tax was placed Rs. 31.77 crore (Rs. 66.60 crore) is now looking to increase theirs sales. They have target of 15-20% growth of current fiscal.
For this they plans to launch new models of their existing portfolio in every three-six months in the next two fiscals, the launch of Apache RTR F1 160 is also part of it
''Our portfolio is complete. We hope to launch new versions of our various motorcycles in every three-six months over the next two years,'' Mr Goindi said.
He further said, “There are various products in the pipeline, which will hit the market in the next three-nine months. While the higher variant of the Apache will have 180cc and 200cc engines, we will also launch bikes in the fast-growing 125cc segment. Some new scooter models will also hit the market.”
So expect some more cool biking stuff form TVS Motors .
