India's largest car manufacturer company Tata Motors have recently unveiled its new Tata Aria MPV which is similar to AWD model in features but at a more reasonable price. The company launched Tata Aria 4X2 was launched in 2010 and since that time the company working hardly to improve the flagship model. Tata Aria was enhanced with great fittings and finish at the UK subsidiary of the Tata Motors, (JLR) Jaguar-Land Rover.
The company launched new Tata Aria to increase the segment of the car and presently there is three variants available in the market Aria Prestige, Aria Pleasure and Aria Pure. The company put these variants in the price range of Rs. 11 to 15 lakhs which is available in the 85 cities in all over India.
In term of Specifications, the Aria 4X4 is available in the market with a 2.2 Litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) engine. It is also provided with a variable turbine technology with a 32 bit ECU, which delivers a 138 bhp power and a 320 nm torque.
The car is also enable with some attractive features like utomatic darkness sensing lights, rain sensing wipers and roof utility space. Moreover, the torsional vibrations from the powertrain are isolated with the dual mass flywheel, which is incorporated in this model. The dual Flywheel also lowers the NVH levels in the cabin.
On the launch of Tata Aria Managing Director, India Operations, Tata Motors, P. M. Telang, said, "As the first Indian 4x4 crossover, the Tata Aria has broken a new path for Tata Motors. With the introduction of the Aria 4x2, we make the range comprehensive. The pleasure of the Aria, combining the finesse of a sedan with the muscle of an SUV, can now be availed by a larger customer segment."
