Recently Virgin mobile launched offer where you will be paid for receiving calls. Now its turn for Chennai-based Airvoice Infocomm claims to have applied for a patent for its technology, which is capable of playing voice advertisement to customers who dial out from the mobile phones.
With 250 million cell phone subscribers in the country and the number expected to double by 2010, more and more advertisers and media planners are turning their attention to this highly penetrative, targeted medium of advertising. So it is another step to monetize it.
Ofcourse this service will be offered to those who subscribes to it. Company says that they will get far more than what others have to offer, ofcourse he was pointing to 10 paisa offer given by Virgin Mobile. Reports say the first rollout would happen in Tamil Nadu by August 2008.
