Maruti Suzuki has introduced a compact version of DZire in the country on Wednesday. The all new compact Swift Dzire is offered in both petrol and diesel versions which will be powered by 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel engine. According to company officials they have incorporated over 150 new features and it is designed keeping in mind the aspirations of urban youth.
It will be cheaper by 26000-31000 considering it qualifies for the lower excise duty of 10% as it is shorter than 4 meters where as compared to the older DZire which was around 4.2 meters in length and was available in price segment of Rs. 5.05lakh to Rs. 7.40 lakh and the price quoted is ex showroom Delhi.
