Samsung has launched the Galaxy SmartTag2 as an upgraded version of its original SmartTag Samsung Galaxy SmartTag which was lauched 2 years back. This battery-powered device can attach to things like a wallet, backpack or even your pet.
Tag2 is available for purchase at a price of Rs 2,799, offering customers the choice between black and white color options. It can be purchased from Samsung Online Store, Samsung Exclusive Stores and Amazon
The Galaxy SmartTag2 has a ring-shaped design and is resistant to water and sun with an IP67 rating. It has Bluetooth connectivity and works within a range of 120 meters.
This new version has comes up with some improved features as it claims to provide up to 700 days of of battery life, almost twice as much as the previous Galaxy SmartTag models.
The SmartTag2 includes Ultra Wideband support, enabling a Compass View and Augmented Reality feature for effortless tracking of items connected to the tracker, but it requires a UWB-compatible Galaxy phone. In addition to this The new Galaxy SmartTag2 has a Lost Mode feature that allows users to enter their contact details. Anyone who finds an item with a SmartTag2 can scan it with their smartphone to view the owner's message and contact information. This feature works with any mobile device with an NFC reader and web browser.
