Democrat presidential candidates Senator Barack Obama and Republican candidate Senator John McCain are the two contenders for the top job of this world, U.S. Presindentship. But for Indians, the million dollar question is, who is better for India.
Both Republicans and Democrats have been working in favour of India for a long time but there are a few areas where they have different views.

Obama, although in favor of Indo – US nuclear ties will insist on India signing CTBT, the treaty, we have been trying to escape. While on the other side, McCain is in favor of continuation of the Indo-US strategic partnership and closer military ties with India.
Obama will expect a lot from India on the Global warming and climate change front and like all democrats, will be tough on India. Obama will be tougher on Pakistan on Terrorism issue and will open doors to Iran. ??? ??? ???

What do you feel, who will be a better U.S. President, from India's point of view?

Though, the election is over and the result it self is the clear indication of the same. I think you got it, its really Obama, though some of them have some inhibitions regarding the IT/BPOs fate, I don't see any immediate step.
