For me that is completely matter of person taste. Mac and PC comparison or precisely windows vs mac, I would say that both have their own advantage and disadvantage but if you just want to use computer at full without knowing too much about it then MAC is definitely for you. Apple sells their own OS on their own selected hardware, it is optimized and is very user friendly and there will be hardly any chances that you will ever get into trouble of technical if and but if you are using mac. Also , max is less prone to virus than microsoft windows. However, Windows Pc allows you little more flexibility, it allows you to choose your own hardware config, build it yourself but if you are not really a geek, you will find yourself always fighting with virus and mostly not very hardware optimized OS. Other than that, generally windows pc are very cheap compared to similar counterpart in Apple.
But again, I will say that its totally upon personal taste.
