Country's state run banks go on strike on Wednesday to protest against a planned for the future move to consolidate public sector banks.

All India Bank Employees Association and All India Bank Officers' Association called a strike to all members of all banks to make it more effective.

The strike will only effect the normal functioning of its branches.

Banks located in Andhera Pradesh Kept on old because the consequent disturbed law.
