You may have been provided with old C++ compiler which do not work in XP and Vista but still you can make it work.

For that you need start it from command prompt. for example if tc.exe is in C:\tc\tc.exe then first start command prompt then goto tc directory ..

cd c:\tc

then

tc.exe


it should work now!

actually i want c,c++ compilers which are easy to use.

You should stick to the standard ones if you are doing for course, while you get expertise in them then there are many IDE available for C, C++ which can provide a lot more than basic compilation.

please give me download link for a standard c compiler.

It must be there in your college or school. I need to find it out !
