It seems to be raining of 250 cc bike in India, you have already witnessed the launch of Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250 R and now one more company going to launch a bike in the same segment. It is reported that Korean auto company Hyosung will soon introduce its Hyosung GT250 R.
This bike can give other bike in the 250 cc segment a tough competition not because of specification even also because of price. The Korean manufacturer will launch this bike with a competitive price tag. The company has yet not decided the price but it is expected this bike will comes in India with a price tag of Rs. 2.25 lakh to Rs 3 lakh.
Now let's talk about the bike, this new Korean bike features full fairing and it looks more like a 600 cc than a 250 cc. It has a oil cooled engine DOHC 4-valve 90 degree V-Twin that generates 27Hp at 10500 rpm and the torque is around 16.73 lb/ft at 8000rpm.
The bike comes with twin carburettor mikuni BDS26 that is common feature in the US made bikes and yet to be seen in India. But there is one negative point for the Hyosung GT250R – it has only five gears and the sixth gear would have made the bike more efficient. The bike comes with largest tyres that is of 110/70-17 54H (front) and 150/70-17 60H (rear).
