New Volkswagen Passat To Be Launched in April 2011

Volkswagen is going to launch it's new Passat in April 2011 with some new amazing features.

The company promises that the new Passat have VW family look with the new grille and headlamps. Apart from the exteriors, the Passat will also boast a host of safety features one among them being the Automatic Distance Control system. The interiors of the luxury sedan will redefine the word "luxury" itself.

The new Passat is expected to be larger than the current generation and should be powered by a 140hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine with a six-speed DSG. So, all those who missed the diesel engine and the DSG in the Passat, will be pleased not just with the powertrain but even overall styling and features. The Passat will be priced at around 20-25 lakh and will certainly be a something to look forward to.

To give the Passat some much needed panache, VW will be pulling out all the stops to make the next-generation a technological showcase, with features that should have the traditional German manufacturers feeling a little worried.

One year after the launch of the Passat sedan will be the station wagon. It is expected that this all new Passat will replace the current R36 by it's new high performance model.
