Salman wants Abhinav for Sequel ie. Dabangg 2

Bollywood Mega super star SAlman khan want's Abinav kashyap for Dabangg 2. Abhinav Kashyap whose directorial Debut Dabbang is the biggest hit of year2010 so far, rubbishes rumours that he would not be making the sequel of the film but adds that it will take a couple of years for the second edition to hit screen. The superstar has loved Dabangg and now wants Kashyap for his home production. Kashyap is also committed to directing the sequel of Dabangg which Salman wants to start soon to capitalize on the popularity of Chulbul Pandey.

But there’s a hitch. Salman Khan said, Abhinav is a good director, but the success of the film may have gone to his head. However, the fallout is a thing of the past and it will only be fitting if Abhinav directs the sequel. Kashyap rubbed a lot of people in the wrong way post the success of his debut film according to the media.

He demanded more than Rs 10 crore from Eros International while negotiating for a film which did not materialise. Kashyap next got a meeting with PVR Pictures. There too he demanded something between Rs 15 and 18 crore.

According to a source, the core cast of Salman khan, Sonakshi sinha and Sonu Sood will remain unchanged. But the plot will now move away from the UP hinterland into a large a city, probably Mumbai. Sonu Sood, who plays the smalltown goon-politician, will play a double role in the sequel. Sood's character Chedi singh will now have twin brother.

Confirming these developments Sonu Sood says, Salman was the most charged person at his Eid party. We were all in a mood to celebrate. When Salman suggested we do the sequel we started discussing it very seriously. I can't reveal too many details at the moment. But yes, my character Chedi Singh will have a twin brother in the sequel.

Apparently, Salman was kicked by the idea of a sequel even while the first part was being shot. During the shooting of a wedding sequence in Dabangg he loudly announced a sequel to the entire cast.

While other cast and crew details are yet to be finalized Dabangg 2 will roll at year end. And yes, it will have another item song on a par with Malaika Arora's Munni badnaam hui
