Chevrolet Beat LPG version coming with Smartech engine.The new car model is equipped with new injection technology which fades away the problems in the conventional LPG kits. 1.2 Liter SMARTECH petrol engine for the Chevrolet Beat, Karl Slym of GM India made a bunch of very interesting announcements on upcoming General Motors products for the Indian market.

As early as next week,GM India will launch the LPG version Chevrolet Beat.the Beat LPG will deliver brilliant fuel economy and might just prove to be the best bet to battle the rising petrol prices as LPG still remains significantly cheaper than petrol.

The new 1.2L SMARTECH engine developed by GM Technical Centre-India in Bangalore in cooperation with GM's new engine plant in Talegaon. According to Sources Which are given by General Motors India President and MD, Karl Slym, the company is going to roll-out a diesel version of the Beat model in the Indian market at some where of this year.
