Sonu Nigam to be a Judge in X-Factor India (Sony TV)

The singing star Sonu Nigam will soon judge one more singing reality show X-Factor. The show X-Factor is the famous International reality show which is now going to be aired in India with its desi avatar.

This show will be judged by Sonu Nigam which is confirmed and Aditya Narayan will host it. According to the sources of media, it is also reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and music composer Salim merchant will be the two other judges for the show.

Sonu Nigam said about this, "My consent to be a judge of 'X Factor' is proof enough of my faith in the format, the teams involved and the Channel. Music in India has gone beyond the boundaries of film music. So for all those singers, bands and musicians who are trying to give music a new expression, the show will give them a platform to showcase their talent, attitude, passion and commitment".

The show is going to be telecast on Sony TV and the auditions for the show are currently being conducted in several parts of the country. Sony Entertainment Television Head of Programming- Ajay Bhalwankar Said, "X Factor' is the greatest platform for singers and performers coming from any and every background. Divided in three categories, candidates - ranging from individuals to groups to couples, will be judged for singing talent, attitude and star quality".

The channel has partnered with international company Framantle Media, the license holders to the format, for the programme. The Maniging Director of Fremantle Media India added, "We are very excited about launching X Factor in India and expect the show to be the biggest and the best yet,"
