Honda to launch 100cc bike in Indian Market

Honda is looking to launch a 100cc Bike in India soon. After the breakup with Hero, Honda wants to launch their 100cc bike alone and its expected that the launch of this motorcycle, their sales and market value would increase.

The company wants to launch it's new 100cc bike with some high on planning and they are already in process to set up their new production plant. The current plant has an annual capacity of about 1.2 mn, while the maximum installed capacity is of 1.5 mn units. As this capacity would soon be reached, the company would need more production. That is why the company is planning for a second plant.

As company said, they will launch their 100cc bike in this April with a price tag of around Rs. 40, 000. The company is already enjoying successful vehicles like Honda Twister, Honda Shine, Honda CBF Stunner, Honda Unicorn, Honda Dazzler, Honda Activa, Honda CBR 1000RR, Honda Activa and Honda Dio which receiving a good response and the company also expecting that with their these 100cc bikes sales will is increase upto 50% from the current 40%.

The company is expecting that their turnover will increase and their market value also in Indian market by it's all new 100cc bikes. The Honda will face competition with existing players like Bajaj and Hero Group who already have their 100cc bikes available in market. Looks like company has a strategy to launch late but make it better than others incorporating experiences of other manufacturer in same segment. Their recent launch of Honda CB Twister which is 110cc bike received huge acclamation and company is hoping to create same with their new launch in 100cc capacity bike segment.
