• HTC Merge-First HTC CDMA phone coming soon

    HTC the company which made some marvelous Android smartphones now officially announced the launch of it's new CDMA phone which will be based on Android.

    Recently, HTC announced the first CDMA Android Merge to be launched through multiple carriers in North America this spring. Merge is an Android 2.2 Froyo powered Smartphone with full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. As per the details provided by the company, the merge offers a 3.8-inch touchscreen display, a 5MP camera that’s capable of shooting 720p video. It also include a Global positioning system ie. GPS, Wi-Fi ability, and Bluetooth connectivity. Like most of other HTC Android smartphone it also runs on 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

    The president of HTC America Jason Mackenzie, said on the launch of new Merge, "HTC prides itself on creating unique solutions that meet the needs of different customers, and with features like a full keyboard and global 3G roaming, the HTC Merge smartphone is the perfect example of this commitment. Combining the functionality of Android with the HTC Sense experience, the HTC Merge is the perfect device for those customers who are looking for a reliable mobile experience with the features and functionality of a smartphone, whether it’s at home or travelling around the world,”.

    This CDMA phone means you can have worldwide roaming among various international carriers. The HTC touch is claimed to be "Truely Complete Smartphone" but is generally not more than many smartphones out there in the market. Only thing with this announcement is that the phone is no more mystery as it did back in November when it appeared and then suddenly disappeared from Verizon's website.
