Audi R8 V10 Spyder for sale in India this March

Audi is planning to offer even more cars on Indian road with it's new car R8-V10 Spyder. After the launch of it's Sedan A8 (in 3.0 TDI, 4.2 FSI ans 6.0 W12 guise) and the Q5's 2.0 TDI varient, Audi is again making sensation with it's major launch as R8-V10 spyder.

The new R8-V10 Spyder is powered with the same as R8 Coupe a V10 engine, with a 525 bhp at 8,000 rpm, with peak torque of 391 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm which can accelerate from 0-100 in just 4.1 seconds. It has a top speed of 310 kph.Using an electrohydraulic setup, the soft top latches itself into place within 19 seconds. Weighing just 30 kg, the whole setup helps keep the center of gravity low.

The company has not disclose the price of R8 yet, but by keeping in mind the price of Coupe Rs. 1.324 crore the Spyder may launch with a price tag of Rs. 1.45 crore. It is expected that the first car will be delivered to a music magnate in Mumbai. This car will be available in 11 stylish colors : Ibis White, Brilliant Red, Suzuka Gray, Teak Brown, Ice Silver, Jet Blue, Aurum Beige, Daytona Gray, Sepang Blue, Lava Gray and Phantom Black.

The car provide with LED lights for low beam, high as well as daytime running lights and turn signals. The R8 Spyder has vertical air intakes in front of the rear wheels giving the R8 a far more sportier look.

The car is all set to roll out on Indian market and already Audi is receiving a nice response with over a dozen cars sold in the first three months. Hopefully this will further improve and we will see even more Audis on Indian road.
