• New Hyundai Accent 2011 version launched

    Hyundai India Motors Ltd., the company which comes on second position in terms of exporting car Indian market has launched a new edition of it's popular car Accent. Hyundai launched Accent 2011, the latest model in the Indian market with a new price tag of Rs. 5,01,900 (ex-showroom New Delhi).

    Arvind Saxena, the Director of Hyundai Motors India, Marketing and sales, said, the 2011 Accent Executive Edition's styling is elegant, making the sedan more sophisticated and desirable. The mild face-lift is part of Hyundai's efforts to update their cars. In India Hyundai generally keeps selling their old version along side their new updated version. Accent is being sold in India since a very long period and still it is making good sales figure.

    The New edition of 2011 Accent comes with chrome-finish front grille, body-colored side molding with chrome inserts and chrome garnish on license plates. On the inside, the sedan gets leather-wrapped gear knob and steering wheel, rear defogger, wood-finish interior, front and rear power windows.

    In term of Technical features then the company has not changed much and it is powered by the existing 1.5-litre (1,495 cc), 12-valve, SOHC engine that produces 95 PS of maximum power at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 12.7 Nm at 3,500 rpm. The engine, mated to 5-speed manual transmission, offers brisk response.

    This time the company introduced Accent in three fuel version which are petrol, LPG and CNG. The company has already sold more than 3 lakh units of the car in the overseas.
