Renault Fluence expected to be launched on May 2011 in India.

The French car maker Renault is set to launch much awaited sedan Fluence in the Indian market this May. The car is expected to be in price range of 11 lakhs to 13 lakhs.

The Renault Fluence will be available in both in petrol and as well as in diesel version. The petrol version of the car will be powered with a 2.0 L four cylinder engine which gives a horse power of 140 bhp. On the other side the diesel version of the car is powered with a 1.5L diesel engine which can generate a power of 105bhp. The company is using the same engine which they used in it's Logan sedan. The Fluence will be first Sedan from Renault in India which they will sell without collaboration with Mahindra, earlier they were selling Renault with help of Mahindra which did not work well.

It is expected that this car will prove a strong opponent for the cars like Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic, Skoda Laura etc. After launching it's Fluence the company will launch it's one more new car in Indian market, the Koleos in the last of quarter of this year.
