New Small car coming from Fiat in 2012

After launching some nice cars in the Indian market the Italian car maker company Fiat is now planning to roll-out a small car on the Indian road. This car can can be tough competition to the other hatchbacks likes Chevrolet Spark, Hyundai Santro Xing, Maruti Alto K10 and Wagon R as company will be late entrant in small car market segment and it will get benefit from the current experience and responses for present models of various companies and their experiences.


The company has already launched it's two cars in the Indian market one is a hatchback Fiat Punto and other a mid-size sedan Fiat Linea. But because of weak sales and service network the company is registering a very limited sales figure in the market.This small car segment will increase the portfolio of the company and also will give good position in the Indian market through enhancing it's market share. Moreover, the company is also planning to reconstruct it sales and service network in the country.

As per the report from industry, the development of Fiat's small car segment is at it's final stage and it is expected that the company will launch these small cars in the year 2012.
