New Sub 4 meter Dzire to be launched soon

Maruti Suzuki will launch a new Dzire under a sub 4m segment following the launch of next generation swift in July. The company will built the Dzire under sub 4 meter category to reduce the excise duty on the car.


The plan to make Dzire shorter ie. under a length a 4 meters can decrease the excise duty on the car to 10 percent against 20 percent. The car will be based totally on new platform and set to give a tough competition to the Tata Indigo CS of Tata motor's. As the length of Dzire is decrease the price of the car is also reduce by Rs 30,000 - Rs 40,000, lesser than the current swift Dzire in the market. The new Swift Dzire will come with an enhanced interior & exterior & will be placed a strong competition against Hyundai i10.

There is only Tata Indigo CS in the market which fall under 4m segment. This step of the company will increase the sales of the car and the company will also get profit by it's prospectus. If we talk about the other company then Mahindra is also looking to launch it's Verito CS in the same 4m segment. The new Dzire will be available in the market at the end of 2011 or 2012 auto expo.
