New 800cc car for India from Hyundai Motors Soon!

Hyundai Motors India limited, the leading automobile manufacturer plans to launch a 800 cc hatchback on Indian roads at the Indian auto expo 2012. The car will be launched in the Indian market with a price of sub Rs. 2 lakh.


As per the statement given by Hyundai, the car will be designed by keeping in mind the Indian market and the next auto expo in 2012 could be the good platform to launch the car. This car will be cheapest car in the portfolio of Hyundai India. At current Hyundai Santro is the cheapest car in the company's portfolio which was overtaken by the i10.

The company has shifted the production of the i20 from Chennai to Turkey and Turkey plant will now be used to produce European markets, while the Chennai plant be used for domestic production.
