Now you can buy Renault Fluence in India At Rs. 12.99 Lakhs

Renault is going to start a new inning in Indian market with its Fluence saloon. The company set the price of the diesel version to Rs. 12.99 lakh, while the price of petrol version is set to Rs. 14.99 lakh.

Renault is arriving in the Indian market with its entry in D-segment vehicle which is currently reign by the giantss like Toyota with its Corolla, Honda with its Civic, Chevrolet with its Cruze, Skoda Laura and Volkswagen with its Jetta. From the entry of Renault in this segment will now see more action as Honda working on a new Civic which will launch in 2012, Ford is also planning to enter in this segment with its Focus in the same year, Volkswagen is not behind them it will also bring a new Jetta later this year.

Now let's talk about the specification of the new Fluence, the car is powered with a 1.5 litre diesel engine which can produce a 112 bhp power, while the petrol variant of the car is powered by a 2.0 litre engine which produce a power of 135 bhp. The diesel variant has a 6 speed manual gearbox while the petrol variant has 6 speed CVT gearbox. The company claiming about the both version of the car petrol as well as diesel version can give a mileage of 13.4 kmpl and 21.84 kmpl, respectively.

The diesel variant of the car has some basic feature like a stereo and four-speakers, airbags, ABS and ESP as standard while the petrol version comes with leather all around, cruise control, USB/aux, air-vents at the rear, parking sensors, leather wrapped steering wheel, netted screens among others.

The Fluence sedan will be available to the company's all 14 dealerships across the country. The company expected to take the total numbers of its dealerships to 40 by the end of this year.
