Acer intel Atom based tablet coming soon!

The computing giant Intel will be launch an Android Honeycomb tablet running on the Atom CPU with Acer in July. The production of this tablet is already on its way. According to the sources, Intel is pushing Android tablets based around Oak Trail to manufacturers, with Lenovo and Asus to follow suit after Acer.


Acer is expecting to take advantage of the improved performance of Intel's chip while maintaining a price line that matches their other platforms. Acer has already two Honeycomb tablets in the market running on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

With Atom as processor, it will provide them more option on cheaper price. Lets wait and see how a an Atom machine will work with Android.
