New TATA Safari and TATA Nano diesel coming soon

Tata Motors, the leading auto company of India has plan to roll-out its small car Nano's Diesel version and they also plan to launch its new Safari next year.

The company has not announced more about the specification of the new variants of these cars. In a presentation, they said that they will introduce a host of products in year 2012. They said, ""Future products in pipeline for FY12, Nano variants, Vista refresh, Manza limited edition, New Safari, Aria 2WD,".

Currently, Nano is available in the market with three different petrol variant and priced between 1.41 lakh to Rs 1.97 lakh. Tata is also working on a special diesel for its Nano with the major company of German of auto component, Bosch.

Bosch Automotive Group Chairman Bernd Bohr said, ""We have developed the 1.1-CRS [common-rail system] for the Tata Nano diesel [version]. The system will also be produced locally,".

Tata is also working on its new Safari, Vista and Manza limited edition, the Aria 2WD which also launch in the year 2012.
