Maruti R3 Mini-MPV likely to be launched in 2012

Maruti Suzuki India ,the largest car maker in the country plans to launch its mini mpv named R3 in year 2012. The company will role out its anticipated MPV R3 in the country in thr first half of year 2012.

The concept version of Maruti R3 modal was displayed in Delhi international Auto expo in January where it had attracted a considerable number of auto enthusiast and visitors. The car is currently under development at Maruti's R&D CENTERS IN India. The Maruti R3 is basically six seater passengers crossover that is being developed at the plat from of Maruti SX4.

The Maruti R3 MPV seems to be taking shape of production car with time. The work of Maruti R3 MPV is in progress to convert the concept vehicle in to production vehicle which is built right and priced which is right for automobiles market in India.

The new maruti R3 MPV is based on stretched Ritz platform and has seating capacity of 6-7 members .The new Maruti R3 MPV has a powerful engines of k- series and it may also come with a CNG version.

The idea behind this MPV is to take on the segment where MPV like Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo are already generating good sales. It is expected to have top-notch interiors along with other frills in this segment.
