Mini Xylo to be launched soon from Mahindra below Rs. 5 lacs

ahindra and Mahindra is in pursue to become a major Automobile player in the world with their ever expanding plans and acquisitions. The Mahindra automobiles is all set to launch Mahindra mini Xylo in July 2011 in Indian market. As per sources the company has already started manufacturing the mini Xylo and the car will hit the Indian roads in coming two months.

The car is being manufactured at the company Chakan plant. The new mini Mahindra Xylo looks similar to its original counter part ie. Xylo however it is little shorter and with a different engine.The range of new Mahindra Mini Xylo is expected to touch the Mark of rs 5 lakhs. In new Mini Xylo they have removed the rear seat and the new Xylo mini will most probably fall under sub 5 meter range. This will save excise duty to a certain extent.

• Multi function steering wheel

Car is expected to be powered by a engines of 1.5l capacity. The new mini mahindra Xylo engine capacity has been reduced from 2.5 liter to 1.5 liter. By eleminating one cylinder the company may offer improved mileage with this vehicle. There are no official images available for this car, all the images circulating on internet are through people and Mahindra fan.

This smaller Xylo will take directly on the cars like Premier Rio which is an interesting take on, eventually looks like Mahindra will gain more in this new segment than Rio.
