• Strike at Maruti Suzuaki's Manesar Plant finally comes to end!

    The 13-day-long strike at Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s Manesar plant finally came to an end around mid night on Thursday. There was a deep conversation between the management and the workers after that management decided to reinstate 11 sacked employees.

    The workers have agreed to resume at work but they want a holiday for tomorrow. The company want to to be held an enquiry against the sacked employees.

    The strike, which started on June 4, has resulted in a loss of Rs 420 crore or 12,600 units. Vendors have reportedly made losses of around Rs 30 crore per day taking the total revenue loss to Rs 720 crore. Maruti Suzuki manufactures SX4, Swift Dzire, A-Star and Swift at the Manesar facility.


    But suddenly we have seen a changed in Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s on tuesday the management have said that they treat sympathetically to the 11 workers who were sacked for instigating the strike at the facility.


    The head of human resources "S.Y.Siddiqui had said that those 11 workers have to face some disciplinary action he also said that they are ready to reduce the penalty in the no work no policy from eight days to four days.

    MSI has suffered losses of Rs 500 crore due to the stir. Heavy financial losses have also been suffered by Maruti’s ancillary units and transporters etc.

    Though the strike is over but it has left a great impact on Maruti Suzuki India in economical terms. workers had been demanding that all 11 workers, whose services have been terminated, be reinstated without any disciplinary action on the part of the company.
