• Ducati Diavel bike now available in India

    Ducati India launched Ducati Diavel model, for the first time in India. Matrix Agencies Private Ltd are the dealers for the Bangalore market.The all new Ducati Diavel comes powered by a 1200 cc engine that is capable of generating a peak power of 162 bhp.

    The Ducati India chief executive officer, Mr Ashish Chordia said whenever MotoGP comes to India, the bike maker will also set up these signature cafés. Two Ducati Caffès have opened so far, one in Rome and the other in Seoul, but several more openings are planned for the Middle East, Far East and the US.

    The bike comes with LED headlights, Traction control, ABS (anti-lock braking system), Pirelli racing tires, 3 riding modes including Sport, Urban and Touring. The total weight of the bike is just 204 kg. The bike is not very heavy as compared to Pulsar 220cc, it is just 35 kg more than the Pulser 220cc.

    Ducati Diavel is priced at slightly over Rs 17 lakh while Diavel Carbon Red is priced at about Rs 22.50 lakh. The lowest priced Ducati model available in India is about Rs 8.5 lakh. Ducati expects to double its sales in India to about 200 units during the next 12 months. Mr Chordia said Ducati has a wider range of bikes compared with some of the premium bikes available in the country.
