The smartphone market is heating up, it was never so much activity as we see now. To take this heat further, Nokia officially launched its two smartphones in India. The first is X7, a full touch 4' smartphone and second one is Nokia E6, a business phone with full qwerty keypad.
These phone are the first among Nokia to run Symbian Anna OS. As per company statement, the new Symbian Anna updates promise better user experience, with new icons and usability enhancements such as improved text input, faster browser, refreshed Ovi Maps and higher security.
Nokia India Director (Marketing) Viral Oza said on the launch of these phones, “with the launch of two new devices we aim to further consolidate our leadership position in the Indian smartphone market. A robust line up of exciting new smart devices and user enhancements coming in the next few quarters, we are confident of further strengthening our smartphone user base in India,” .
Also, as per Nokia , Nokia will start shipping other phones like N8s, E7s, C7s and C6-01s with the new Symbian Anna software update.
The Nokia X7 comes with 4" AMOLED display giving you resolution of 640x360 pixels and comes with 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash. The camera is also capable of recording video at 720p with 25fps.
The E6 is primarily a business phone with Microsoft Business Apps. Nokia E6 syncs with Microsoft Outlook to deliver real-time emails, contacts and calendar entries direct to your home screen – at no extra cost. And now you can be even more productive. Create, edit and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint docs on the go and get in touch with colleagues using Microsoft Communicator Mobile. It also comes with 8 MP and 2.16' display. It has inbuilt 8GB of internal memory.
Nokia E6 is available across the country at Rs. 18,679 and the X7 is now available across the country in shades of dark steel and light steel at Rs 22,829.
