Bajaj Auto Limited , India second largest two wheel maker is planning to launch KTM 200 Duke by the year end or start of 2012. The KTM Duke 200 will be available from January 2012, and will be sold through Bajaj's pro-biking showrooms initially. It will be aggressively priced between Rs 1.25 lakhs to Rs 1.30 lakhs.
In terms of the the technical specifications of KTM Duke 200, it will be powered by a single cylinder, 200cc , liquid cooled , DOHC , four valve engine . the Bajaj Auto is confident that the bike will pump out 25 horses of power and weigh around 125 KG. Those who have ridden the KTM 200 duke confirms that it is a powerful machine . If priced correctly by the Bajaj Auto Limited in India it will offer severe competition to Yamaha R15 and the Honda CBR250R and other two wheelers in the same category.
