• Bajaj to show case Ultra Low cost car in Delhi Auto Expo 2012

    Advert.
Bajaj Auto will showcase its much awaited ultra low cost (ULC) car at 2012 Delhi auto Expo. Bajaj Auto has developed this car in partnership with Renault Nissan. This ultra low cost car was a result of a joint venture of both the companies in India. Both these companies are aware of huge potential that Indian markets can offer to these low cost cars.

Both the companies are hopeful that these ultra low cost cars will hit the Indian roads by the end of next year's first quarter. In this joint venture, the R & D and the designing of the car will be handled by the Bajaj whereas the marketing and the distribution of the car will be handled by Nissan Renault . Bajaj is confident that the ultra low cost cars will be fuel efficient and will provide a fuel economy of 30 km per litre. It is noteworthy that these cars will be launched in competition to Tata Nano , which has the fuel economy of 25 km per litre much lower than the Ulc.

It is much known fact that Tata was unable to make a mark in this segment with their Nano. It would be exciting to see how Indian markets respond to these ultra low cost cars.
