Reliance Jio App list and their usage
Reliance Jio, also known as Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (RJIL) is India's first pan India 4G service provider. They not only intend to provide 4G voice and data services but have plan for many digital service over it. For this , Jio has launched a bundle of multimedia apps on Google Play as part of its upcoming 4G services. While the apps are available to download for everyone, a user will require a Jio SIM card to use them.
MyJio -
Manage Jio Account and Digital Services associated with it and allows access to suite of other Jio apps.
JioPlay -
A live TV channel service which allows to watch programs from last seven days and have one of the widest coverage of TV Channels. It is exclusive to Reliance Jio SIM users only.
JioChat Messenger -
An instant messaging app offer host of features including video chat, group chat, conference, file transfer etc.
JioNet -
This app allows you to locate and connect to nearest Jio WIFI hostspot.
JioBeats -
A music service from RJIO, allows you to enjoy music from over 20 languages. Again Reliance JIO user exclusive.
JioJoin -
A VoLTE phone simulator which allows you to use NON-VoLTE to work as VoLTE enabled phone.
JioMags -
E-reader for magazines with huge library in various languages. Again its RJIO users exclusive.
JioXpressNews -
A news and magazine aggregator allows you to read news from multiple sources. RJIO user exclusive.
JioSecurity -
A Security app from RJIO. It uses Norton Mobile Insights to protect device from virus threats, malicious apps, malicious websites etc. It also features other security features like find / recover device in case you lost it. It is Reliance Jio user exclusive.
JioDrive-
Cloud-based backup and storage tool. Let you store your files and data over Reliance Jio server so that you can access them anywhere. You need to have JIO ID to login to it.
JioMoney Wallet -
An online payments/wallet app allows you to make payments for DTH, mobiles, GAS and other utilities.
Jio MediaShare -
Allows you to stream music, videos, photos and documents to various devices in your house.
Easily you can see they have a long list of applications and they are adding more gradually. From what we can see here, its quite evident that they want to dominate every aspect of mobile. They have application for almost all regular stuff you do on your mobile.\
