This phone is named 6500 slide but it shows remarkable difference from Nokia 6500 classic. According to Nokia it is a mid range 3G mobile phone and packed with features.
Nokia 6500 offers Quadband GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
and Dualband WCDMA 850/2100 MHz which means it can be used worldwide.
It has nice display 16 million colors QVGA 240 x 320 pixels 2.2" LCD. Supposed to be big enough and fun to use. Among the one of the reason to buy this phone. User interface is nice and as we know about Nokia, pretty standard but with few extra shortcut keys and you will good while using them.
Another and remarkable feature of the phone is 3.2 Mega Pixel Camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, with up to 8x digital zoom. I think it is best in Nokia series. I call it yet another reason to buy this phone if you are fond of having a nice and usable camera phone at your disposal.
Video recording features : VGA (15fps) and QCIF (30fps) resolutions with 4x smooth zoom in H263, MPEG-4 in .3gp format. It also features 3G video conference with TV out facility. Did I mention that secondry camera features 15fps video with QCIF mode and meant for video conferencing.
It sports integrated FM radio and Integrated music player supports MP3/MP4/AAC/eAAC+/WMA audio file formats.
It has 20MB built in memory and it relies on external memory for full functioning, it can be updated with 4GB expansion card.
It supports GPRS, EDGE and CSD and yes PUSH to TALK.
Overall it is good phone considering its features and nokia says its for Mid-Range Market.

in my official profession I have been dealing with Nokia since three decades - their products are always superior in performance - and their after sales service is far superior.
there are very few corporates which cares after sales service - one among the corporate who offer best after-sales-service (even after warranty), they are one of the best.
